Is there a way to enable or disable workflow logging from Microsoft CRM 3.0? Our DB is getting pounded, and it looks like logging is the culprit. If not, is there a way to manage the volume of logging, like log4j levels?

I think this one should help you out: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907490 . Make sure tracing is disabled, this should bring down the pounding.
Robot : I saw that and wondered if it's related to what we're experiencing... that doc refers to trace files as opposed to WF log tables in SQL Server, but it's our DB that's under pressure.From Reinoud van Santen
