What web apps can help us to build support section in our company website?

We need something that have forum,online support(chat),knowledge base(or wiki),Help desk. What's best web app for this?

  • You could also just use the online support app as a knowledge base by creating articles in the style of an FAQ.

  • Also check out Zendesk. They integrate with many other web apps.

  • I believe SharePoint 2010 would be a good fit. It depends a lot on what the current environment at your company looks like.

    Prestaul : I totally disagree. Besides being too general in scope and challenging to configure and maintain, SharePoint sucks as a forum and offers no chat. You are better off with a tool designed as a help desk/support forum.

  • I also think there are two related options: SnapABug and Olark

    Both apps allow the user to chat with a live admin (assuming you are present). They both integrate with several chat apps. Although neither is a complete solution, they are both valuable dealing with customers (and offer free accounts).
